Opera Crashes and Restarts After Clicking on Tabs

After last week's update for both Opera and Windows, my browser started crashing with increasing frequency. It isn't every time but whenever I'm quickly clicking to ex out a tab, Opera crashes and then restarts. It saves my tabs and where I left off, the most being having to retrace where I left off watching a non-youtube video.
I don't know why that's the case. I use the same extensions with no issue, I use the same amount of browsers. I cleared my cache, I turned off my extensions but the probllem remains. It's frustrating. If anyone else has this struggle or has a solution, let me know. Thanks.

I have same problem for a few days already. I click with middle mouse button or the X in Tabs' right side do close a no longer-necessary tab and... Opera just goes toast and restarts, basically every hour.

I have not found any kind of workaround. Prior to last 2 updates, Opera was working OK, those last few updates somewhat botched this browser very badly. Please give access to any of prior versions which worked OK.

^Good to know I'm not the only 1 dealing with this issue. Also:

same amount of browsers
I meant "same amount of tabs"

When you goto the URL
opera://crashes, is the crash listed? If so and it has a "CrashID=:", what's the ID? -

@ArnyDeWatcher Sorry. Need a Crash ID instead or the Local Crash Context.
See if < https://reddit.com/r/operabrowser/wiki/opera/crashlog> helps get a Crash ID.
Also, can you test in Opera Developer from the developer section at https://www.opera.com/download to see if it crashes and shows CrashID=?

I have the same issue, according to opera://crashes/ last Friday I had 10 crashes, yesterday I had 8, and today I am at 10 (and counting), so I really hope there will be a patch very-very soon, because this is close to unbearable on a workday.

Sorry, but how you managed to stay on that Opera's older version? I can't seems for sake do can bypass that forcibly always-updating to its latest version (which is of course cursed with that breaking bug)?

@ArnyDeWatcher Thanks. Crash known and fixed internally and released in Opera Developer so far.
See DNA-125842 in the 139 changelog.
Fix should come to Opera Stable soon. Until then, try to avoid having the find in page dialog open or a PIP window open or being in full screen when closing a tab. That might reduce the change of encountering the crash.
