Pluto TV Stopped Working

As a workaround for now, you can download my "Mask_as_Chrome_on_Pluto_tv.zip" from here, extract it, goto the URL
opera://extensions, turn on developer mode, click "load unpacked" and point it to the extracted folder where manifest.json is at. Then, at the URLopera://extensions, enable "Allow access to search page results" for the extension. And, if you want to use it in a private window, enable incognito mode for the extension. -

I tried reporting this issue to Pluto, but they said that Opera is currently not supported and wouldn't listen and didn't care.
The good news is that an awesome Opera dev made a browser.js fix to work around Pluto blocking Opera. It's in the new 135.0.5973.76 build that just came out.

@maxin2003 I don't have a paramountplus account to fully test. I might be able to borrow someone's later and check.
My extension at https://www.reddit.com/r/OperaGX/comments/1wqrf5m/comment/pf0a3x8/ for the paramount workaround is set to run on the paramountplus.com domain and its subdomains. Maybe there are some other domains it needs to run on too.
A fix from Opera should be coming soon. If you search for "paramount" in Opera's siteprefs.json and browser.js files in the "resources" folder in the latest version folder in Opera's install folder and paramount is in there, you should have the fix from Opera. It's not in them for me yet though.

@maxin2003 I don't see the fix being mentioned on the changelog. I also don't see paramountplus.com on siteprefs.json or browser.js

In 137.0.6036.39, after going to
opera://abouta bunch of times, I'm finally seeing paramountplus in browser.js under "Sources" in dev tools. So, I'm getting the fix in the patched browser.js in the user data folder at least. However, it just causes the page to turn black. Disabling browser.js at the URL
opera://browserjsallows the paramountplus page to load right again. Can't test any videos at the moment though. -

@maxin2003 I was able to test paramountplus signed in with an account.
In Opera, goto the URL
opera://browserjsand disable browser.js for the session so that the paramountplus.com page doesn't go black and so that the sign in page doesn't say "forbidden".Once signed in, go to the page for a movie/episode you want to play.
Then, goto the URL
opera://extensions, turn on developer mode, click "load unpacked" and point it to the extracted folder of my paramountplus.com workaround extension where manifest.json is at. That will load the extension. Then, at the URLopera://extensions, turn on "Allow access to search page results" for the extension. Then, on the movie/episode page, reload the page and play the video. If it says "optimzing your video playback" and then goes back to not playing the video (but doesn't give you an error), click the video to play it again and it should work. Only had to do that once.
Tested with the Joe Dirt movie and a South Park episode. The both played fine in Opera after a few ads played.
I did not test with any adblockers on, so you might want to disable Opera's adblocking and tracking protection at the URL
opera://settings/privacyProtectionand any adblocker extensions first. You also might want to disable lucid mode at the URLopera://settings/lucidModefirst (I didn't need to though).
