@Himmelsschlingel Thanks for reporting and apologies for late reply.
There are many details in this thread, so let me consult this internally and see if we can add something to this discussion.

Ok, so what I got from our engineers:
"Please use a clean profile, as it appears that DNS over HTTPS (DOH) was the original cause of the issue. DOH is not activated in a clean profile, so although you mentioned turning it off, we can only be certain by testing with a clean profile.
If the problem persists, please confirm whether you have activated the free VPN, as this can also trigger the behavior affecting your router."

That seemed to be the problem. I didn’t change the DoH setting after the fresh install and I haven‘t had an issue so far.

@Mlipka I'm afraid, joy about it lasted only for a day. I had to restart to router twice this morning. Haven't changed the DNS settings in Opera, neither on desktop nor on Android and never used VPN.
Still, I wonder if this is just coincidence, but I'd rather use Firefox instead for a while in order to exclude it wasn't any general issue in the router. So if it's going well for another week, I'll try to install Opera again. But for now it's really annoying, if Opera really is the suspect and behaving strangely.
Some would say it could also be an issue with Flow, I don't know, actually. But if it's really Opera-related, it only appeared after Version 128 not before. There were hardly any issues before, only some smaller problems which disappeared after restarting the router, but they didn't prevail.
I'd love to use Opera as my default with Firefox as back up, but for now I'll keep using the latter exclusively. -

Sorry to hear that you are still experiencing issues.
At this point, we have no further ideas on how to assist you. We have not received any additional reports of this problem from other users, which suggests that the issue might be specific to your network environment.
We will continue to monitor this case, and if any new information arises, we will be sure to inform you.
