@mmmatukas menu - developer - task manager or shift escape.
See if there is any process using too much RAM or CPU

@mmmatukas So there is no process running in Opera that is using too much RAM? So maybe there are just many processes running using a normal amount of RAM?

@mmmatukas , Did you test the 10 tabs in private mode when extensions are not active?
Also did you benefit from the RAM limiter which allows to set hard limits or fine-tune exactly how much memory GX can use.

@Nearmelab I'll try and see how it works. I only have the opera adblocker extension though.
Wouldn't using the RAM limiter make it even slower? -

@mmmatukas If you are talking about Windows task manager, it doesn't show number of tabs but number of processes as the name of the tab says.

@mmmatukas And, yes, Chromium is multi process. But it doesn't split pages on multiple processes.
There is a main process, one process for each tab, one for each extension, one for video, one for sound, one for network, etc

@saimayob220 As I said, go to menu - developer - task manager or use shift escape to see the processes running in Opera and check if there are any using a lot of RAM or CPU.
