Why can't change default Search engine

I live in china,google is blocked,
I suggest setting Baidu as the default search engine or can change the default search engine

Go to Baidu home page and hold on search fiel, you will see some options: one is for add search engine. You have to choose every time you do a search.

Yes and this is really annoying. I personally would like to change the english Wikipedia to the german one. But there is no way.

If you live in China use Oupeng 10, it's special tailored for your taste and it may have something extra.
