so the search bar has been combined with the address bar! This sucks. Is there a way to add the search bar back?

@ikonoklast61 They have been combined since, hmm, 15, 20 years ago. The separated search bar was just for those few that didn't like to also use address bar to search.

There isn't as far as I know

@leocg thanks, but I'd swear I had both until the upgrade in the past few days. Maybe it's my imagination. But what makes me think I'm right is, in one browser I use, the two are side by side, which I don't like--I preferred opera with the search bar below the address bar. It's hard to believe I just woke up this morning and imagined I'd had search bar yesterday that I didn't have.

@ikonoklast61 There was an option to add a separated search bar to the right of address bar. That option no longer exists.

There never was a search bar below the address bar, unless you are talking about the search bar in start page. That one is still there.

updating doesnt mean it got better ! just screwing with stuff
