Opera icon has red background in taskbar

For the past few days, the Opera icon in the taskbar is red with a red background instead of a black background (on Windows 10). There are no notifications or anything else I can find that should be causing this. Opening and closing Opera and restarting my computer didn't fix it. Any ideas?

I actually find it so distracting that I'm going to have to stop using Opera until it stops.

@lilituc As already said, it usually means that you have a broken download in your downloads list.
