Aria doesn't continue the dialog

Recently Opera suggested to upgrade the browser to work better with Aria. I opted to do so. It took a bit to figure out how to access Aria as the location was moved. That of course wasn't an issue.
The major problem is that since then Aria's behavior has become very erratic. It cannot continue with the original dialog and clears the screen and reverts back to initial prompt on every single instance.
Even at times clicking on the copy button clears the original dialog and clears the screen and reverts me back to the initial prompt for a new inquiry.
Needless to say currently Aria has pretty much become useless to me. I thought maybe the settings needs to be changed but I don't find anything.
Should I change back to an older version when everything was working fine? If so how do I make sure to retain my bookmarks, extensions and other settings.
Any feedback would be highly appreciated.

@Operafan2026 Are you on the latest version? If so you shouldn‘t need to upgrade to the all new Opera AI. It comes automatically and without these hiccups that happened with the older one, that you described.
If you are on the latest version, try to delete cache or make a new install as it sounds like there‘s something broken. But be sure to check your actual version and if you missed the latest updates. -

Thanks for your feedback.
It seems I'm on the latest version 125.0.5729.49 and Opera says it is up to date. Your comment makes sense and a reinstall will hopefully fix the problem. I intend to uninstall the Opera shortly and do a fresh install.
How do I make sure my bookmarks and applied extensions are not lost? -

@Operafan2026 Use Sync and do a backup of the profile directory.

@leocg thanks.
I will try to get the job done.

I will post my experience with Aria once I managed to reinstall the browser. -

@DerSchlingel As I was pretty busy I just managed to backup the profile and my bookmarks. I was about to uninstall the Opera and make a fresh install. By chance I noticed that the Aria section on the right side had changed. It was a bit narrower and instead of Aria it says AI. I figured I give it a try before uninstalling and reinstalling the browser. I was pleasantly surprised to see that Aria seems to be functioning properly again. I will monitor it for now and am excited not having to go through reinstall process.
