Opera AI and data privacy

I'd like to ask @Opera-Security about AI and data privacy in Opera AI.
If I assume that I generally have Opera AI turned on and there's the icon in the taskbar, will it read each and every web page that I open in the browser? So, that I can't open websites that should be kept secret?
And if not: Does this happen, when I open the Opera AI sidebar or only when I will write a prompt with site context toggled on?So, I hope you understand the scenario I'm talking about: I leave Opera AI toggled on, but don't want it to read websites I open without my consent.
I would be very thankful if you could elaborate on this. Thank you very much.

@leocg I'm sorry for not being precise. I meant the new icon for AI in the upper right.

This is an important question, especially when it comes to trust and user consent.
From a privacy perspective, AI features should ideally only process page content when a user explicitly interacts with them (for example, opening the AI sidebar or submitting a prompt with page context enabled), not silently read every website in the background.
Many users open sensitive or private tools in their browser such as banking portals, internal dashboards, or even a salary calculator and they should remain confident that these pages are not being accessed by AI without clear consent.
Clear indicators and strict opt in behavior would definitely help build more trust in Opera AI’s approach to data privacy.
