I just upgraded from Opera 124 to 125.
Following that

I should
"Open Aria from your sidebar and click Upgrade"
I open Aria but there is nothing to click for upgrade. Now I'm not sure if I'm really "up-to-date".

At the URLs opera://about and opera://version, if it shows "125.0.5729.15", you have the newest version that's available at this moment.

Then, you can enable the "Opera AI" flag at the URL opera://flags/#ai-chat-in-side-panel and restart Opera. Then, Aria should be gone and you should see the new AI at the right of the address bar.
