Delete bookmarks in Opera Sync's Bookmark Trash folder

Hello. How do I delete bookmarks in Opera Sync's Bookmark Trash folder? And I don't mean trash folder on my Opera browser app. I'm talking about my Opera Synchronization Profile:
Synchronized content/Bookmarks/Trash Bookmarks -

@leocg I wish there were a way because I have 2500 bookmarks in my bookmark trash folder. There are so many because every time I change the Windows system or buy a new computer, the bookmarks are re-saved and duplicated. And I also couldn't find a way to remove them. But thanks for your replies anyway.

You can enable syncing of just bookmarks in a test standalone installation to see if it pulls in those trashed bookmarks at the URL
opera://bookmarks. If so, you can empty that test Opera's trash to see if that then clears those trashed bookmarks from the server. Before you do that, in your regular Opera, you might want to use the drop-down at the bottom left of the
opera://bookmarkspage to export your bookmarks to an HTML file. You might want to goto the URLopera://password-manager/settingsand export your passwords to a CSV file too just in case. Sync sometimes gets confused and can wipe out things.Besides that, if those trashed bookmarks are not in any synced Opera, the only way to get rid of them is to goto https://www.sync.opera.com/ and click "reset passphrase" wipe out all your data on the Sync server and start over. When doing this, the data in your Opera should resync to the server, but don't rely on it. Back up things just in case.

@burnout426 I've already created an HTML file of my bookmarks, saved my passwords to a CSV file, and run the "reset password" command. This didn't change the situation with the Bookmarks trash folder though.

@bess Hmm, you can try things again, but this time, close Opera and delete the "Sync Data" folder (and any other folders with "Sync" in their names) in the profile folder (profile path shown at the URL
opera://about). Repeat for any other Operas you have..Then, log into https://www.sync.opera.com/ in another browser and reset the passphrase.
Then start Opera and log in to Sync.
If that doesn't do the trick, try that again, but before you start Opera, also delete the "Bookmarks", "Bookmarks.bak" and "BookmarksExtras" files in the profile folder before you start Opera. Then, don't import your bookmarks from the HTML file you have yet. Instead, log into Sync and sync bookmarks.
If everything is fine then, look at the HTML file in a text editor to see if there are any trashed bookmarks. If so, remove their entries manually before importing the HTML file back into Opera.
I'm guessing that your Opera profile is reintroducing those trashed bookmarks, so you have to clear the stuck Sync Data so that doesn't happen.
