[[ M2 ]] gmail sending stuck and queued when it used to be working

Hi There ,

Not sure recently M2 prevent sending smtp.gmail.com.

If I restart Opera, it can send ( sometime ) , if overnight and get back to work in the morning the issue happen again ( mail queued ).

Looking for solution,

The queued email problem is a security/authentication issue because the older M2 client does not use modern security protocols (like OAuth2). The solution is to generate and use a Google App Password (a unique 16-character code) in M2's account settings instead of your regular password, which bypasses the security block and allows the SMTP connection to persist.

Having same issue with Opera M2—Gmail emails stuck in queue. Likely caused by SMTP authentication timeout, server limits, or network glitches. Re-authenticating or restarting sometimes helps but no permanent fix yet. Anyone solve this?

I use this finally and works for me.

Don't forget to also Set Once Again --> https://myaccount.google.com
.........to get a new password purely for M2 incoming/outgoing use.

M2 not using Gmail your real password but above.
