Dear Opera, don't tell me when you've updated and don't show me the clipping tool tab everytime you do. Just update in the background and continue with a good product. Thanks.

If you're talking about the https://www.opera.com/client/upgraded, https://www.opera.com/client/upgraded-gx and https://www.opera.com/client/upgraded-air pages, I have an extension linked in https://www.reddit.com/r/OperaGX/comments/1b24otz/comment/ksql4ix/ that will take care of that part.

There should be an option in the browser to turn off the "updated"/"what's new" and so on. It interrupts the user experience and no one I know actually reads it: it's too basic for developers and too specific and involved for non-developers.
Effectively, it has no target audience. The developer tools have the option to turn off "what's new" in them, so why can't we have it for the browser itself?!
