Youtube hotkeys for video popout?

Hello.

When using youtube I often use l and j to jump backward and forward, and also < and > to slow down/speed up the playback.

Is there a way to enable such default youtube key shortcuts for popup player window?

It is an implemented feature, right? I don't think I have any plugins that do that installed.
It means the only choise is to take this to developer team somehow?

@ZyberPunk It's a YouTube feature as far as I know and that's why it doesn't work in the video pop-out.
