Opera starts very slow

My Opera and Opera Gx app starts up very slowly, every time I want to use it I turn it on and have to wait 30-40 minutes to be able to use it, is there any way to improve it, it really drives me crazy waiting

That sounds super frustrating . Try clearing your cache and disabling any extensions you don’t really need — sometimes they slow Opera down a lot. Also, check if your VPN or antivirus is interfering with the startup. I had the same issue once, and doing that made it load way faster!

The issue hasn’t been fixed in the current update. Now, every time you start the browser, you have to wait while Opera queries something and the icon on the speed dial updates.
Now the program freezes for about 40 seconds every time I open it.

The problem has been solved. A complete full uninstallation (+user data) and reinstallation of the program helped.
