Notification indicator in sidebar Messenger doesn't go away

I'm talking about this icon on the Opera GX Sidebar

The main problem is that the notification indicator sometimes does not disappear when I press this icon. It's infuriating the next time I press the icon, as I have no new messages.

I would like to have an option to manually clear the notification. For example, when I press the right mouse button, there could be a menu option to clear the notification.

@Mrozoneq For now you can go to sidebar settings and disable (and, then, enable again) notifications.
