Black screen. when starting

Hello! Each time I start Opera, black screen pops up for a moment, and only then a browser window appears. Reinstallation doesn't help. What decision can be?

@leocg Opera One(version: 122.0.5643.71) I haven't noticed this problem before. I also work in Chrome, no black screen.

@leocg Maybe, someone else has this problem too. I doubt, that it appears only on my laptop. I even reinstalled a display adapter - the problem repeated itself.

@leocg I've already described; black screen flashes for a moment once I start Opera. And only after it Opera opens. You can check, the same problem, when I click the left mouse button search icon in the bottom left corner.

@leocg It's not another window. Opera flashes black immediately after opening, but only for a moment, less than a second, and then normal web-page appears, as usual. The same thing, when I click search icon in the bottom left corner. it flashes black for a very short time, and then it opens normally.

I've been getting this too in Opera One for quite a while (not sure what build it started in). What's happening (in my case at least) is that Opera's background for the window is black (wonder if it was a change to try and get rid of flashbangs when using dark mode) and then the web-based UI renders (paints) over the black.

I not only see it when Opera starts, but I can see the black for a split second when Opera is minimized and I click its taskbar button to bring it back up.

Opera One 122.0.5643.92 64-bit on Windows 11 23H2. Opera is in light mode with the classic theme at its defaults. Fresh profile.

It happens if Opera is in dark mode too, but it's not a visual bother in that case.

Whether graphics acceleration is on or not doesn't make a difference.

I haven't reported it or anything. Assume it's just due to my old GPU and CPU not being able to paint fast enough.

If it is something Opera did on purpose to help with flashbangs in dark mode, it's probably something that should only be applied when the UI is actually in dark mode if possible.

I had the same issue, but due to old laptop i bought the new one and now everything is ok
