[Duplicated]My Opera GX Freezing on Startup

I am unable to go to settings or anything of the sort I've uninstalled reinstalled nothing works I'm stuck at the home screen nothing can be clicked or can't even quit out
I dont know if its a recent update or problem everyone is having or what but this needs to be fixed or I'll be forced to switch browsers which I don't want since Opera GX imo (when it works) is the best browser I've used -

@BrushedRanger I have the same issue. So far had no luck with figuring it out. Hopefully there will be a fix issued fast. It seems to be affecting a lot of people.

I have been suffering from the same issue. I have restarted my computer three separate times, I have uninstalled the program (check-marked the "Remove Data" button), and reinstalled several times, to no avail. Opera GX is currently inoperable for me, because when I open it, the program immediately freezes within 2 seconds, and I cannot interact with any buttons. I have been attempting to troubleshoot the issue for hours, searched dozens of help threads on various forums, and no potential solution resolved the problem. My guess? The developers pushed out an update that broke everything.

I have the exact same problem. When I launch the browser, it freezes completely after the last update.

Found the solution:
- Uninstall Opera GX, and check-mark the box for deleting all user data
- Go to the official Opera GX website to download
- Reinstall
Attempting to use the Reinstall button in the uninstall window will not yield the same result.
