In case of unexpected closure of the app, due to battery running out or other reason, the private tabs should still be there but it seems that they are deleted. I wish opera would do something about that.
I am using the IOS version.

@SonofPleb The purpose of private window/tab/mode is that everything you do there is "forgotten" when you leave the tab/window.
