Bookmarks icon (not the bar!)

i'm looking for a simply way to have quick access to my bookmarks.
Something like this little icon:
And i want it to be here some where:
I don't use a side bar or the bookmarks bar since i want my sceen as clean as possible.
Found several add ons that do a whole bunch of things with bookmarks but none that simply adds the icon and nothing more. I also tried adding opera://bookmarks to "add site" but that doesn't work.
Workaround that kind of fixes it, was adding links and then add opera://bookmarks to it. Working but not perfect.
Any better solution out there?
