Boost with player integration or media pause rework

I want to be able to have the music and boost on with the "Automatically pause playback when other media starts playing" also active, but the boost and spotify conflict with each other when that's enabled. I want it on because for work, I watch bits of videos and constantly play and stop them, and I want the music and boost to turn on in between. I would like to see a feature inside the boost feature that lets you select spotify (or other players) as the available tracks.

@Mlipka by default, I like to listen to music while I'm writing things in documents, and I'd like to listen to the boost effects (just the frequency stuff) alongside the music. This can only be accomplished with having the setting that stops the player when other media is playing since the boost counts as other media.
What I'm trying to do is watch a little bit of a video and have the music automatically pause when doing so, which works but only for the player, not the boost. -
