So, I have to drag images between tabs all the time on my work (eg. from google images to photoshop online) and the new visual update removes this function. The image refuses to switch tabs when I'm dragging it. I got around it previously by staying on the old visuals, but now that the new style is sadly mandatory and the team haven't fixed this issue, I'll have to change to another browser so I can do my work. Is this an issue that will be fixed?

@MVDSGNCW Dragging links between tabs also doesn't work any more, I've reverted back to the old UI.

@rastanz yeah, i was using it like that, but they removed the old ui completelly this week. A shame really, they ruined a great browser trying to improve it.

@MVDSGNCW I found a post here in the forum which had these instructions so I thought why the heck not try it since I've practically tried everything else. This worked for me to get my old UI back using the updated GX.

            First unhide files/folders Windows option

Go to C:\UsersUSERNAME\AppData\Roaming\Opera Software\Opera GX Stable\ and edit the "Local State" file with any text editor (try Notepad).

Using Ctrl+F find "gxx_flags":{"enabled":true," and change "true" to "false".

Save the file and then change it's properties to "Read Only" so Opera doesn't revert back to the new UI when you close or reopen it.

@rastanz Just remember that it's a temporary workaround, since the old UI probably will be removed.
