Many instances of Opera in Task Manager

I noticed my browser was incredibly slower than usual, decided to check task manager to see if there were any issues, to find 37 versions of opera running at once, i am aware that opera is a chromium based browser, but i definetely do not have 37 tabs open, even my bookmarks and extensions do not add up to 37, so im unsure of what is going on? Sometimes the number of instances decreases and increases, once going up to 45, then falling to 32, i did not open or close any tabs in this scenario, could it be a virus in the background? If anyone can help it would be much appreciated! Thank you!

@meeeowww Windows task manager doesn't know how many tabs are opened in a browser, it show the number of processes running in the browser (or any other app). That's why the tab name in Windows task manager is called processes and not tabs.
If you want to know what are those processes running in Opera, go to Menu - Developer - Task Manager or use Shift Escape
