Unable to dowload through Opera unless I edit the registry

Description of the problem: So I recently got a new Surface tablet, and I paid for microsoft 365 with windows defender. I installed windows defender and went on to try and use my new Surface like I used the old one. The old one had no virus scan other than Windows Defender, and had Windows 11 and Opera GX. I never had a problem with it. On this one, any time I tried to download anything through Opera only, I get the Virus Scan Failed message. I looked around for a solution and found changing the registry from 3 to 1 fixes the issue, but I was hoping for a solution that didn't involve editing the registry.

@Tazman3002 Seems more of a Windows Defender issue. I also have Windows 11 and Windows Defender and I have no issues downloading with Opera GX.
