Instagram Modal Post View Not Working in Opera Browser

Hello,

I’ve encountered a persistent issue when trying to view individual posts on Instagram using the Opera browser (latest version on Windows). When I click on a photo or video, the URL correctly changes to something like https://www.instagram.com/p/xyz, and the background dims as expected — but the modal window (post view) never appears. I only see a dimmed page with a close (X) button in the corner, but no content is loaded.

I’ve tried the following troubleshooting steps:

• Cleared cache and cookies

• Disabled all extensions

• Used incognito/private mode

• Reset all Instagram site settings

• Switched user-agent to Chrome
  None of these solved the problem.

DevTools shows multiple errors like:

Got unexpected null or undefined [Caught in: caught error in module withPPRLogging (PolarisPost.react)]
querySelector '[object HTMLDocument]' is not a valid selector.

This problem does not occur in Chrome or Firefox — only in Opera. It seems like a compatibility issue with how Instagram's modal rendering works in Opera.

Please advise if this is a known issue or if there's a workaround. It's quite frustrating since everything else on the site works fine.

@leocg Opera 118.0.5461.60, not GX/AI, just ordinary Opera.
