is there a way to make the tabs field bigger so i can manipulate the window?

I use Opera in windowed mode, not in fullscreen neither maximized, and i've been having the following issue:
as you can see, i keep a number of tabs constantly opened for easy access, my problem is that because of the new design, i can only use this small section of the window to move it:
if i try to manipulate the window, in any other place, it just activates the tab, or it pulls the tab out to make a new window.
is there a way to make the tabs field bigger so i can manipulate the window as i want or i'm forever obligated to not have freedom on where in my desktop i can have my opera window?
