Add page to Speed Dial only

If I want to quickly add a page top the Speed Dial, the current way to do it is to click on the heart icon (add to Bookmarks) in the address bar and click on the Speed Dial icon. Problem is this also adds the page to Bookmarks. Personally I'd like to see an option to add to Speed Dial OR Bookmarks, not only both.

I would also really like to have it the way that cozza describes it, I know you can remove the bookmark directly from the heart menu in the latest developer version, but it's still annoying that it adds from the beginning.

me too. in opera devloper 29, by clicking the heart menu, you can choose which items will appear (perform as logo-web, site-letter, sreenshot, etc..) and using the right click only allow us to display the speed dial thumnails as site-letters
