Opera opens as a small page

I notice that when opening Opera, it opens as a very small page compared to my display and I have to adjust it to full screen so that it is as large as I need it. Is there a way to have opera open in almost full screen mode?

I am unsure to what you mean by Opera 1, Opera GX and Opera Air. Can you tell me how do I discern this. Thanks

@garymruns There are three different Opera browsers for desktops, you can see which one you are using in opera://about.
