Part of UI is rendered in bright color without contrast

Hello,
I am low vision. Opera has been my "go to" browser for Linux and Windows for years.
Today's Windows update has nearly destroyed my experience. Both the bookmarks bar and, most importantly, the "URL icon boxes" are now rendered in a bright color without contrast which is affecting my vision and readability.

I have toggled options in "Mode." One option does give me a black contrast bookmarks bar but destroys my Gmail UI. Any solution or any way to revert to a previous version? This is a disaster.
