organica23 last edited byI've recently downloaded Opera (87.2) to my phone (Pixel 4a running Android 13). I've made a web page in local storage at file:///storage/emulated/0/Android/data/
 com.opera.browser/files/Download/pagename.html
and viewed this successfully using Opera. However, I then tried to make a shortcut to this page on my main Android home screen, by tapping the Opera menu icon > Add to... > Home screen. This seems to work, but when I then tap the resulting icon on the Android Home screen, Android gives me an "App isn't installed" alert. Is there some kind of auxiliary app I need to launch Opera from a Home screen shortcut, or does the OS mistakenly think I don't have Opera itself installed? ( PS - Ad Blocker is On, Data Saved is Off )
