[Opinion]Why Does Opera Get Worse with Every Update?

Opera has always been a solid browser, recognized for its innovative features and smooth performance. However, with each update, it seems to drift further away from its strengths. What was once a reliable and user-friendly browser often feels less efficient, more cluttered, or less stable after updates.
Why does this keep happening? Are developers focusing too much on unnecessary changes rather than improving what already works? Many users feel frustrated, as every update introduces changes that don’t seem to add value or even diminish the browser's overall quality.
Opera should focus on listening to its community, fixing bugs, and enhancing core features instead of making changes that alienate its loyal users. It's time for the developers to rethink their approach and stop making updates that feel like a step backward.

@Willian000 I agree. when i first started using GX it was because other browsers were demolishing my memory and ram and i wanted a browser that was meant to be when playing games. For awhile it held up to that. it barely would take up 10% Of my ram, and was fun to use.
Now GX takes up more ram and memory and it constantly crashes. it constantly has issues and my god is the UI genuinely horrific with the latest version. The gpu limiters it offers is an actual joke and itll claim its not using much, when in reality it splits the processor in 25 different task bar tabs that take up to 90% of my memory.Id have a smoother time using internet explorer at this point and rarely use GX with how nuclear its become in my task bar.
