lost audio on Opera 26

Only Opera 26 among my 7 browsers doesn't have any audio. All the other browsers (including Opera 12.17, both 32- and 64-bit) work fine. Opera 26 used to have audio, but sometime in December it stopped, and I haven't been able to restore it. Any suggestions? Is there a setting somewhere specific to audio?

Are you running on Windows 7 or later? Start up Opera and left click the speaker icon on your taskbar by the clock and then click Mixer. Has Opera had its volume lowered or muted?

I am running Win7 Pro 64-bit. I've checked the audio mixer, and there are only 2 sliders - Device and Applications. Both are tied together, and the sliders are above the halfway position, and neither is muted. There is nothing that references Opera or Browsers specifically. Is there a setting within Opera that can mute the audio?

Opera must be open and playing some audio (even if it's a ghost of it) so it'll appear in the mixer.
You can't hear audio in any page or only in a specific page?

Voilà! Voilà! Mercy buckets! With audio streaming, another slider appears labeled "Opera Internet Browser", and IT is muted. Un-muting that slider did the trick. Whew! Now I don't have to switch to another browser to watch YouTube.
Thanks, you guys.TimDaniels
