I cant log into youtube

For some reason, I cant log into youtube on my laptop using opera, but the app and website still works on my phone. I have already tried uninstalling/disabling my extensions, clearing website and cookie/cache data in both the opera settings and google account settings, updating and restarting opera, and updating and restarting my entire laptop to no avail. It still shows me the same, "There was an issue signing you into YouTube. Troubleshoot here." Help please?

@leocg Yes! I tried it with chrome and I signed in just fine! I don't understand what the issue is nor do I want to switch to the chrome browser.. I use youtube quite often so it also isn't something that I can just abandon.

@burnout426 so I actually just ended up uninstalling then reinstalling the opera browser. When i tried again it did not immediately send me to the oops page, but it blocked me from signing in because of an issue with an “unsupported browser.” After some further digging I saw there was a problem with javascript not being enabled in the opera settings despite being automatically allowed, so I just added google account website to the list of allowed javascript access/users and it worked. I dont know how this ended up happening, but I signed in now…
