Why doesn't Opera ask for and store the CVV codes of credit cards in its Payment Methods? It's a pain to have to go get my credit card from my wallet to enter it into most websites.

@PeterBB So, thanks for the non-answer. Just a load of pretentious crap about how I can go about posing a question.

@PeterBB Was it really a question? Thought it was more of a suggestion.

The CVV field doesn't exist, so there is no way to save it.

The security code field is present in Chrome (and vanilla Chromium) at the URL chrome://settings/payments when you click "add" if the "Save security codes" setting is enabled.

Not sure why it's not there in Opera, but it's not there in other Chromium-based browsers like Edge, Brave and Vivaldi either. Firefox doesn't have the field in its payment method storage either. My guess is that Opera, Edge, Brave and Vivaldi purposely remove the option for added security. But, I don't know for sure.

@burnout426 Thanks. Yes, I guess that's it…security. It's there in Safari. It just makes it painful to fill out credit card information when buying something over the web.

              Thanks!
