Bookmarks gone after reinstalling Windows

I had to reinstall windows on my PC and I chose the option to keep all my files. However, I redownloaded Opera GX to find that my bookmarks are gone... I did not know I could sync my account. Is there a way get my bookmarks back?
I made a restore point before reinstalling windows, but even when I go back, I still don't see them or know where I would find the file that would contain my original Opera GX data.

@LapisArsene Yep, it's kinda expected that your data is removed when you reinstall the OS, since they are deleted or, at least, moved.
If you still have access to the old profile directory, you can get the Bookmarks file there.

@leocg Thank you so much. I think I found it. I see the files "Bookmarks", "Bookmarks.bak", "BookmarksExtras". I opened the first one in notepad and I see it all there. How do I add these to my browser now?

@LapisArsene If it's a very new installation, you can just replace the current file with the old one.
