Opera does not update!

My wife's PC (win 10, 22H2, Opera 114.0.5282.140) does not update Opera. Whenever she starts O, a small popup says there's a new version, she clicks on YES, it downloads, she clicks an relaunch and O opens with the same old 140 version with the same popup that there's the 115 version. This has been going on for several weeks now. What is going on here?

No, it's .5282.140

@BrigitteDoris There isn't any .140 listed, maybe that's why the update is problematic.

Try running the installer.

"Running the installer", do you mean download Opera and install then? Does that keep all the settings, bookmarks, etc.?
