Hide border to the side of YouTube video

When I watch YouTube in theatre mode, Opera puts a border to the left and right of the video. I think this is a new feature, last week this was fine. Other browsers do not display anything to the left and right of a video.

How can I turn off the borders so there is nothing to the left and right of a YouTube theatre mode video?

@leocg Not sure what you mean by a Chromium browser. I downloaded "Google Chrome Canary" and it looks the same as FireFox, without the borders: https://imgur.com/vlGkYyg
