Setting up VPN led to Ipad being blocked

Was setting opera vpn on my ipad ( i forgot which on opera mini or gx) , it redirects me to setting so i can set the vpn and it asked me to enter my screen passcode, once i did it it fails i was pretty desperate so i entered it for a lil couple more times till my screen passcode locked and when i entered my screen passcode once my screen unlocked it fails for some reason ( which i'm very sure its correct ) Now i cant access my ipad due to me not knowing what's the passcode ( i'm sorry for my bad grammar due to english not being my first language ) And the inconvenience I dont really know if its an issue with opera OR apple itself Please tell. i could fix my password myself but i don't want this problem to happen again Thanks,

@swappy1234 It seems that you typed the wrong password and your Ipad was locked because of that.
