Spotify playback error

I can't play Spotify in my web browser. After I log in it will give me a error saying "Playback disabled" I have tried clearing my cookies and cache, the VPN is turned off, and ad blocker is turned off too.

Hey Prof-MANGO, that “Playback disabled” error usually points to an issue with protected content settings in your browser. Since you’ve already cleared cache, turned off your VPN, and disabled ad blockers, the next thing to check is whether protected content (DRM) is enabled. In Chrome, go to chrome://settings/content/protectedContent and make sure both toggles are turned on — Spotify needs this to stream music.
If that doesn't solve it, try opening Spotify in an Incognito window to rule out any interfering extensions. Also, ensure your browser is up to date, and check if Widevine is installed by visiting chrome://components and updating Widevine Content Decryption Module. If all else fails, give it a quick test in Firefox or Edge to see if it’s a browser-specific issue.
