The search engine in Opera gx does not change

The search engine in Opera gx does not change, Yandex is in the settings, but Google is still on the search bar, please help

When I change the search engine in the settings, no matter what I set it to Google, nothing helps. I have already reinstalled the application and even tried the old version, it does not help.

@charmistery So you set Yandex as the default search engine but when you do a search in address bar, you get results from Google?
