How can I disable "Opera Suggestions" in address bar

How can I remove these "suggestions" from the list when typing in the address bar? It is becoming a major annoyance as the list is far too long, irrelevant, and always searches amazon for technical information? It is enough of an annoyance that I have switched back to Vivaldi for most of my searches now.

I'm with you on this. Instead of returning an engine search, as it did previously, 90% of the time I get a white "no suggestions, search google" page when google isn't even my default engine. I'm about over it.
Yes, there's a dedicated search box on the right now, but using the address bar has become ingrained, and the dedicated box is a pain to use because it doesn't self clear when you click back into it for a different search.
