@duviii same, since it became a "Known" bug, three updates came out but still no fixes to this eye frying Problem.

It seems the issue was resolved in Opera Developer version 115.0.5314.0.

• DNA-117907: [DevTools] Dark theme selection not persisting

Who knows when this fix will be rolled out to Opera One.

Updated to 114.0.5282.94 stable that was also released today, but no fix for this. Wonder if / why stable users have to wait a couple of weeks more until v115 goes stable...

Just updated to 114.0.5282.94 and the issue still persists. i suppose i do not need to restart the PC or clean anything right ?

I use the regular Opera Browser 114.0.5282.102. I can choose on the Theme options between "Browser Preferance", Light" Dark". When I open the inspector, its light mode, when I go to the options, it is shown as being set to "Dark". Switching to anything resets it. Opening and closing the inspector tab makes it white, no matter which option is chosen. Disabled all extensions to test if it was one of them, no difference. Extensions:
"Server IP", uBlock Origin, Zoho Vault, Session Buddy, Laravel TestTools (Disabled 98% of website visits) ImTranslator, Dislikes in YT.

I was able to update the Opera GX Browser to LVL 6 (core: 114.0.5282.106), and when I select dark mode, it stays on dark mode even when I close and reopen it. Thank you, developers, and I’m sorry for anyone still experiencing issues. I genuinely sympathize with those who continue to struggle with this problem.
