Opera browser does not connect to the internet when you turn on data saving mode on Android

When I turn on Data saving mode in Opera browser on Android, it does not connect to the internet. It takes minutes to open 1 page. When I turn off Data saving mode, it connects to the internet immediately. I wonder why.
This problem occurred with the last update
