Opera freezes after about a minute

I have tried reinstalling several times after thoroughly removing all traces. I have seen answers and suggestions in various forums - at their suggestions I tried installing it in the Programme files folder, I've tried running it offline, I've tried running it under Admin. Nothing makes any difference. I haven't had any problems in the past and it's been my favourite browser for many years. It is on Windows10.

When I open Opera GX, my entire computer crashes, causing no process to work in the background or foreground.
Likewise, Opera freezes and it is impossible to close it, and the only solution is to suddenly turn off the PC.It does not open or close any other program, everything freezes except the mouse.
Before, the browser ran without any problem on my PC (even faster than others like Brave or Chrome).
I have an iCore 5 32GB 1TB RAM Dell Vostro 3250
