Farewell, great browser...

I was Opera user since 1997, bought and used this great browser everyday with a pleasure. And for the long years, the Opera was a way ahead the other browsers who copied functionalities (eg tabs, loupe etc.) from it. It was half the size and double as fast than any of the other browsers. Right after installation there were all the functionalities needed by experinced user. The others needed tons of plugins and even with them were not able to provide the Opera functionality.
Yes, this great browser was used only by a couple of percent of the Internet users, since it doesn't had the monstrous marketing machine behind it like M$ has. But even this couple of percent represents millions of users. And what users! The people I know using Opera were pretty smart and experienced guys able to appreciate the real quality ...
But then something terrible happened. Obsessed by the market share, the Opera management decided that they will cripple our beloved browser to become a simplified copy of Google Chrome. After I have seen this new Opera, I thought that it is a joke or some easter egg....no bookmarks, no loupe, no image filtering... everything why I liked Opera so much has disappeared. And on your forums I red that this is the future for Opera, that primitivisation and functionality degradation is the strategy to the future Opera development.
Oh boy, you will not get many of these lamers who need as simple browser as possible! They are oriented to M$ and Google who rule them. The only effect will be that Opera will be abandoned by it's veteran users, who are looking for and appreciating quality.
So with a pain in my heart and with almost tears in my eyes I must say - farewell Opera, thank you for some 15 years of great experience. And these lines are written in Firefox already...
