See the link in https://www.reddit.com/r/operabrowser/comments/1e6uliu/comment/le1vwgt/?utm_source=reddit&utm_medium=web2x&context=3 .
It's likely that you missed disabling one of the New Look options. For example, "New Look - Main UI" requires "New Look - Foundations". If you only have the first enabled, Opera GX won't start. you then have to do the workaround in that thread to turn off Early Bird completely so that Opera will start where you can then turn on Early Bird again and then make sure you have all the "New Look" options off. Or, you can just turn Early Bird off completely if you don't want any of its features.

The new update crashes the browser, completely killing it beyond recovery. I am writing only after recovering. I played with the new look of Opera GX, switching and trying to combine it, but after rebooting Opera stopped launching. I tried using the standard recovery application, but it didn't work, I had to manually uninstall and reinstall Opera. I hope they see this and fix it.

There's this "early bird"-feature which contains a new look that instantly activated upon updating the browser. I noticed the change and wanted to switch back. I flipped the switch saying "New look" off and wanted to restart the browser, but it doesn't work. I even re-installed the whole browser and restarted my PC several times and it still doesn't work. I already checked that "Multi User=0" and it was on 0. Do you guys have a solution to that?
