Zoom meeting links download file instead of opening app

When clicking on a Zoom Meeting link from Outlook for example, Opera opens but downloads a Zoom exe install file instead of automatically opening Zoom and connecting to the meeting like Chrome or Edge would.
Is there a specific setting to change to make the behavior correct?

Is the link you click on in Outlook just an https link that opens in Opera because Opera is your default browser? What's the link look like (you can change IDs etc. in the link)?
