[Extensions]enhancer for youtube is not working

i use opera gx to watch youtube, and i use the enhancer for youtube extension, suddenly my enhancer for youtube stopped working. it's acting like I'm watching from an embed, e.g. reddit or discord, you can tell by the "Watch on YouTube" button i've highlighted. i tried reinstalling the extension and restarting my computer to no avail, is there any way to fix this?

update: the issue remains even after disabling Enhancer for YouTube. so it's not an issue with the extension, but with Opera GX itself

I've had the same problem and my fix was the extension Tampermonkey had a script that was making the video be embedded, it was the "Remove Adblock Thing". if you don't have that, I suggest turning off all your extensions and turning them on one by one to see the culprit, it is tedious but it helped me figure out the problem.
