Lost Bookmarks

So, I had to reinstall Opera GX on my PC as it was freezing on me, but after reinstalling it, I noticed I had lost bookmarks even thou I always have sync on. Is there a way to find these lost bookmarks or are they forever lost?

@jackomon If there is nothing in sync.opera.com and you don't have a backup, then they are lost.
