[Solved]ChatGPT has stopped opening in the sidebar

Same issue here as well and I know how to recreate it:
Ensure Chatgpt isn't signed in before you open it in the sidebar, or you can simply open it in a new incognito tab.
Once it's logged out open Chatgppt using the sidebar, and it should ask you to sign in; once you sign in, it will bug out and open chatbot outside of the sidebar in a new tab; however, after that, you won't see it working again within the sidebar, and it will show you the error page every time you try to open it through the sidebar.
If you reset Opera, then it will do the same thing where it will open in a new tab instead of the sidebar, and then again it will start showing the error.

sbora last edited byBeen broken for almost a week now. Works just fine from a tabbed page in the browser, but all you get is an error if you try to open it from the sidebar.

Same here have been experiencing error at the sidebar for 2 days. Opened on the browser it's ok. Tried to fix the sidebar one with clearing the cache a few times these few days, and reset the Opera this morning to no avail.

Exactly the same issue, and I just installed Opera for the first time today --- so this error is present on a completely fresh install.

Me too, since the last few days I’ve been having some trouble with my chatgpt sidebar set up, I’ve already tried fixing it by erasing the browser, I’ve also tried updating the browser and selecting the recovery option but any on my efforts were successful on fixing the issue. It keeps showing a error whenever I try to open it. Nonetheless, ChatGPT work s perfectly fine on a separate normal tab but it keeps showing the error on the sidebar.
I really need this extension for my work, so it would be very helpful if you could give me some technical support

Same to me, it gives me a white screen saying "error", but then it opens a tab with chatGPT so that i can still use it. But today i opened the AI and it said at the top that the flash player emulator extension was corrupted. I tried clicking on the repair button but nothing happened.
Here is the image. It is in portuguese so let me translate it for ya. It says in red: "this extension might be corrupted", the two buttons on the left are respectively "details" and "remove", and the orange one on the right is "repair". same here, i mean i tried re-downloading it, reseting te whole opera gx, restart the computer, restart the app, but nothing seems to work.

Same here.
Opening ChatGPT in a new tab functions properly.
However, starting from two days ago, when I open ChatGPT from the Opera Sidebar, I encounter a blank page and the Sidebar title displays "error."

I’ve recently encountered an issue with the integrated ChatGPT feature in the Opera browser sidebar. Whenever I try to use it, I receive an error message and cannot proceed. I’ve already tried to restart the browser and even reinstalled Opera, but the problem persists.
Is anyone else facing the same issue? Are there any known solutions or upcoming updates to address this error?
